If you need to retrieve information
about the server itself, such as the name of the server, the server
IP address or the current time of day on the server, you need to do
it while creating a udm. This can be done during adding a child node
to a udm. |
| |
|
| |
Add a child node to the UDM created
following the process described before (click here). |
| |
- In step 1 of Adding a Node, select
utility objects as the required dataport and click on Next button.
- While specifying the node type,
select either the server name or the IP address, or the current
time on server and save it.
- Regenerate the html and view it
on the browser. The desired information is retrieved. For e.g. if you select the current time on server, zDE returns the data
in the format: Thu Dec 07 03:27:01 GMT+05:30 2000
