Customer Profile: Our customer is a world leader in fine electronic devices. Its chief business units include Components, Magnetic Devices, Communications, Peripheral Products and Automotive Electronics.

Challenge: Our customer has about 40 Manufacturing Representatives( MRO) throughout the US. Our customer wanted a solution that would provide timely and accurate information relating to revenue, commission and product to the MROs online. The application should also support the sales personnel in the company to view information on the MRO's reporting to them. The MROs should be able to access data relation to commission, shipment tracking, product specifics, pricing and samples to enhance productivity.

Solution: PK4 developed a robust web-based portal which encompassed information regarding revenues, commission reports, order backlog reports, detailed product information (including technical diagrams), pricing and sample requests. Shipment tracking information could be accessed for detailed information on the consignments. Data security was enforced whereby each MRO could view only his/her information.

All reports were available to view and download in HTML, PDF and MS Excel formats. The portal was able to provide access to information to any authenticated user as per their privileges. The system admin could easily administer the user rights and privileges.
