Airlines Maintenance System:
Our customer wanted to deploy a web-based tracking application that provided a platform to the participating airline companies to view and share information about the various services that they provided to the client. The customer wanted a to create a system to track maintenance records and performance statistics for fleets of various airlines, including Northwest, Delta, United, FedEx and UPS.

Hospital ERP System:
Our customer owns a hospital ERP system that has been deployed at several hospitals in India and the Middle East. Built with PowerBuilder this client/server application is functionally-rich and varied. With the coming of the Internet though, hospitals are under pressure to provide more and more services to their customers on the Internet. These include services like patient appointments resource allocation and discussions with hospital care-givers via discussion forums. Our customer's clients wanted them to provide these online services as part of their existing product. Our customer could not find a cost-effective scalable solution to move their PowerBuilder application to the web.

Sales Reporting Portal:
Our customer is headquartered in Santa Barbara and is a world's leading supplier of engineered products. There were about 15 users from sales who required up-to-date information for better decision-making for faster time-to-market response. Earlier, the information was retrieved from the Oracle based ERP system into an MS Access database. The reports were manually generated and emailed periodically to all users. This process involved a lot of time and effort. There were very limited analysis capabilities in the existing process; hence users were expected to analyze data on their own privileges leading to wastage of time.

Online Reporting Portal:
Our customer is a consortium of companies providing title insurance, Settlement services, title and escrow services. The company maintained twelve production databases to support title insurance, Settlement services, and title and escrow services in a centralized data center. There were about 120 sales representatives in the field who needed to access information in addition to corporate executives and managers. Users had to export large reports into excel where they had to slice and dice the information. To make matters worse, many production reports did not even support export capability.

Reporting and Content Management System:
Our customer is a world leader in fine electronic devices. Their chief business units include Components, Magnetic Devices, Communications, Peripheral Products and Automotive Electronics. They have about 40 Manufacturing Representatives( MRO) throughout the US. The customer wanted a solution that would provide timely and accurate information relating to revenue, commission and product to the MROs online. The application should also support the sales personnel within the company to view information on the MRO's reporting to them. The MROs should be able to access data relation to commission, shipment tracking, product specifics, pricing and samples to enhance productivity.

Integrated Sales and Operations:
Our customer is one of the pioneers in umbilical cord cell banking worldwide. Our customer had analyzed their business and operations and identified specific processes that are critical to their success. Gaining the mind-share of key market influencers like gynecologists, educating key personal influencers like siblings and parents and following up effectively with the expectant parents - all of these and more go to making a successful sale. Our customer intended to automate as much of this as possible, including processes from the creation of "kits" for cord-cell collection all the way through lab processes and accounting of periodic payments.
